Sage was born in Paris, but her ancestors are from Greece and Asia Minor, also called Anatolia. After a long career at the European Commission in Brussels, followed by more than 14 years at the head of the biggest European Theatre Network (European Theatre Convention), Sage moved to Norway. She was recruited in 2011 by Østfold University College - Norwegian Theatre Academy where she works now as Senior Adviser for Artistic Research. During more than 13 years, she has facilitated and managed several artistic research projects bridging the creative work of artists, researchers, and academics in wider international contexts and collaborations. Sage considers artistic research as one of the finest way to establish a relationship between art, society, academia and the more-than-human world: it is a collective process of exploration and re-imagining. Beyond this administrative position, Sage´s passion lies in the field of psycho-genealogy and transgenerational therapy.
